Detroit Stiga Championships 2021 Table Hockey Tournament

March 26-27, 2021

What you need to know:

NOTE ON 2021 TOURNAMENTS: As of Jan. 31, 2021, it seems unlikely this year's tournament will be held as scheduled due to coronavirus restrictions. We're not officially postponed yet, but that appears to be the direction things are headed. It really sucks that we might lose two years of events. To hold the event, the pace of vaccinations would have to speed up, the U.S.-Canadian border would need to be reopened and Michigan restrictions would have to ease up.

NOTE: TOURNAMENT WILL NOT BE HELD IN 2020 DUE TO CORONAVIRUS LIMITATIONS*The Coleco tournament will take place on Friday, March 20. Doors open at 4 p.m. and puck drop at 5 p.m. We will play a round robin or two, depending on the number of participants, and move onto playoffs for everyone. The number of pools will depend on the number of entrants.

NOTE: TOURNAMENT WILL NOT BE HELD IN 2020 DUE TO CORONAVIRUS LIMITATIONS*The Stiga tournament will take place on Saturday, March 21. Doors open at 9 a.m. Player meeting at 9:30 a.m.. First puck drops at 9:45 a.m. There will be two round robins, a lunch break, and playoffs.

*Stiga registration fee of $35 for returning players, same as last year. For first-time players in a USTHA/ITHF event, the cost is $20. For players 14 and under, it's $20. Prices are good until March 19, 2020. It's $5 more after that. The Coleco registration fee: $15 per player with a paid Stiga entry fee. To play Coleco only, the cost is $30. You can pay via PayPal if you'd like. Please email for details. All prices in US dollars.

*Stiga tournament is sanctioned and part of USTHA/CTHA North American Tour and ITHF World Tour. The Coleco is part of the NTHL tour.

*Once again, there is likely to be a free raffle of NHL and table hockey merchandise.

*To register please e-mail Eric Krol at

*Venue is the same as last few years: The Monaghan Knights of Columbus Hall, 19801 Farmington Road in Livonia, MI. It's about three miles east of the Embassy Suites, where we previously held the event.

*Hotel group rate. You can still stay at the Embassy Suites Livonia. We have a group rate of $118. This year, that includes a choice of one king bed or two double beds. With the sleeper sofa in the other part of the room, you could pack three guys in the same room to save $$$. Deadline to book is March 9, 2020. Attendees can either go to and use the group code: XTH or call 1-800-HILTONS and reference the room block for "Stiga North American Table Hockey."
